The Community Foundation of South Alabama will be accepting letters of inquiry for its next grant cycle on July 12, according to a release.

For the 2021 grant cycle, the community foundation will accept grant applications in the following areas:

• Family: Promoting parenting and family education

• Education: Increasing access to preschool education

• Extra curriculars: Increasing youth access to extracurricular activities

• Work: Expanding opportunities to help young people get well-paying jobs through workforce training

• Racial equity: Advance matters of fairness and racial equity with a critical focus on underprivileged youth

• Arts and culture: Increasing youth access to equitable, high quality arts and culture

An invitation to submit a Letter of Inquiry (LOI) for the 2021 Closing the Opportunity Gap Grant Cycle will be made available on July 12, 2021. The deadline to submit an LOI  is July 26, 2021 at 11:59 p.m.
