Joan Theresa Guerra, 84, of Atmore, passed away on July 18, 2021 in Pensacola, Fla.

She was born on June 22, 1937 to the late William and Elizabeth Butler. Ms. Guerra was of the Catholic faith.

She is preceded in death by her parents; and her brother, Tommy Butler.

She is survived by her son, Steven (Martha) Breceda of Robinsonville; her daughter, Brenda Singh of Atmore; her sister, Judith Pesquierra of Atmore; three grandchildren, Heather, Haley and Rosie; along with five great grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held next Tues., Aug. 10, 2021 at 10 a.m. at Johnson-Quimby Funeral Home with the Rev. Steven Breceda officiating.

Johnson-Quimby Funeral Home is in charge of all arrangements.
