Kathryn Abramovich Hicks, 88 of McDavid, Fla., passed away on Aug. 20, 2021 in McDavid.

She was born Perdido, AL. on December 2, 1932 to the late Rudolph and Viola Vidak Abramovich.

She is preceded in death by her parents.

She is survived by her husband, Fred Hicks of McDavid; two children, Bro. Ed (Valerie) Hicks of Molino, Fla. and Rhonda (Brian) Bruley of Atmore; four grandchildren, Ben, Charity, David and Nathan; and six great-grandchildren.

Graveside services were held on Aug. 23, 2021 at Ray’s Chapel Baptist Church Cemetery. Interment followed in Ray’s Chapel Baptist Church Cemetery.

Johnson-Quimby Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
