The Atmore City Council adopted a resolution to purchase a fire truck during its regular meeting on Aug. 23.

Resolution 2021-18 was adopted for the use of a bradford fire apparatus for the fire department.

In other business, the city council:

• adopted resolution 2021-17 to TripTek Construction LLC for drainage improvements at Oak Hill Cemetery. The project cost is $496,000; and,

• approved Faith Tabernacle Holiness Church’s use of Houston Avery Park on Sept. 20-24, 2021 for a revival.
