West Escambia Utilities today reported recent Sanitary Sewer Overflows in town due to heavy rains and flooding associated with remnants of Hurricane Ida.

The overflows include:

• Manhole at Intersection of Wilson Avenue and Ridgeley Street

• Manhole behind Trammell Street lift station.

• Manhole near 101 Greer Avenue next to beauty shop.

• Manhole at 97 MLK Ave.

• Manhole at 173 MLK Ave.

• Liberty Street lift station

• Bar screen at Fountain lift station (Location is a non-public area.)

• Manhole at Intersection of Wilson Avenue and Ridgeley Street

• Manhole behind Trammell Street lift station.

• Manhole near 101 Greer Avenue next to beauty shop.

The public is encouraged to avoid the areas.
