Melba Ernestine “Jackie” Brown, 94, passed away on Aug. 31, 2021 in Century, Fla.

She was born on May 22, 1927 in Bratt, Fla. to the late Ernest and Katie Davis Hall.

She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Hubert Lewis Brown; her grandson, Carey Brown; and her siblings, Martez Rutherford, Julia Johnson, Betty Wells and Jerry Hall.

She is survived by her sons, Michael (Donna) Brown of Grand Island, Fla. and Joey (Jamie) Brown of Spanish Fort; seven grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

Graveside service was held on Sept. 7, 2021 at Bratt-Godwin Cemetery in Bratt with Bro. Don Davis officiating.

Johnson-Quimby Funeral Home was in charge of all arrangements.
