On Aug. 30, 2021, Patricia Arrington Conway, 81, went to sleep and awoke in the arms of her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.

Pat and Autry were married for 55 years and their happy union produced five wonderful children, Pamela Conway, Wendy (Robert) Davis, Anthony (Susan) Conway, Joseph (Gina) Conway and Benjamin Conway. They were blessed with 10 grandchildren, Carrie (David) Lowery, Paul (Tracy) Davis, Joshua Conway, Brandon Conway, Matthew (Donna) Conway, Kala (Brian) White, Jessica (Adam) Mizell, Hannah (Tony) Palombo, Dakota Conway and Caleb Conway. Their grandchildren listened to their Granny and were fruitful, producing 20 great grandchildren.

Upon her death, she was greeted at Heaven’s gate by those who preceded her, including her parents, Clarence and Montez Arrington; her oldest daughter Pam; her beloved husband, Autry; her sister, Agnes; and her brother, Charles Vernon.

Funeral services were held on Sept. 3, 2021 at Southside Baptist Church with Pastor Jason Hughes officiating. Interment followed at Pine Grove Cemetery.

Active pallbearers will be Paul Davis, Brandon Conway, Josh Conway, Matthew Conway, Dakota Conway, Caleb Conway and Eugene Conway.

Johnson-Quimby Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
