Merle Harris Tolin was born on April 5, 1944, and her homegoing was on Sept. 17, 2021.

Merle was born to Fletcher Alexander and Lula Dale Davis Harris.

She is preceded in death her parents; her husband, Herman E. Tolin; her children, Sheila Marie Tolin and Angie Marie Tolin; and her siblings, Imogene Harris Brown and Robert Harris.

She is survived by her sons, Herman Roy Tolin and James Floyd (Tammy) Tolin of Atmore; her grandson, James Benjamin “Bean” Tolin, of Atmore; her siblings, Elbert Harris of Elberta, Will Harris, Charles Harris, Ronnie Lee Harris and Larry (Patricia) Harris, all of Goodway, Ed (Patricia) Harris and James (Linda) Harris of Frisco City, Clyde (Lindy) Harris of Monroeville and Annie Harris and Mary Ann (Artie) Tillman of Fairhope; along with many nieces and nephews.

Funeral service will be held this Fri., Sept. 24, 2021 at 11 a.m. at Johnson-Quimby Funeral Home with Bro. Clarence Rolin officiating.

Interment will follow at Mineola Cemetery in Mineola, AL.

Visitation will be held on Sept. 24, 2021 from 10 a.m. until service time at Johnson-Quimby Funeral Home.

Johnson-Quimby Funeral Home is in charge of all arrangements.
