Cougars stay No. 1 in AISA poll

Escambia Academy is still No. 1 in AISA as the Cougars face No. 2 Autauga Academy this Friday night after the Alabama Sports Writers Association released its latest football poll today.
The Cougars defeated Chipley, Fla. 22-7 last Friday night to stay undefeated going into this week’s important region contest.
In other poll news, T.R. Miller is No. 10 in Class 3A, and Flomaton dropped to No. 8 from No. 5.
