ECHS Homecoming to be celebrated Oct. 15
Escambia County High School’s Homecoming will be next Fri., Oct. 15, 2021.
The Blue Devils will play the W.S. Neal Eagles at Herbert Barnes Stadium.
According to school officials, this year’s theme is “Party Like Back in the Day.”
During the week, students will be participating in activities, including theme days to celebrate the past.
“We would like to invite all alumni to join us for a special program on Thursday, Oct. 14, for a stroll down memory lane,” Principal Amy Cabaniss said. “Each hallway will be decorated with pictures and memories as we take a reminiscent look at ECHS through the decades.”
The program will begin at 4 p.m. with a short slideshow and memory walk around the school, followed by an afternoon alumni tea for all former graduates and the 2021-2022 Homecoming Court.
The pep rally will be held on Oct. 14 at 5 p.m. in the stadium.
The Homecoming Parade will be on Oct. 15, at 2 p.m. beginning at the soccer fields behind the YMCA. Any class who would like to enter a float should contact us at ECHS at 368-9181 by Friday, Oct. 8 to be added to the line up.
