The Atmore City Council approved a library board reappointment during its meeting on Monday night.

The council approed the reappointment of Ruby N. White to the Atmore Public Library board.

In other business, the city:

• approved the Atmore Community Hospital’s Breast Cancer Awareness 5K run/walk, which will be held on Sat., Oct. 23, on Williams Station Day.
