Dewey Barney Vaughn, 74, of Stratford, Texas, passed away on Aug. 14, 2021.

D.B. was formerly from Walnut Hill, Fla.

He was born on June 9, 1947 to John Dewey Vaughan and Lucy Thomas Vaughan.

He is preceded in death by his parents; his sister, Loretta Cox; and his brother, John Henry Vaughan.

He is survived by his sister, Patricia Solomon; three nieces; six nephews; many great-nieces and nephews; and special friends, Lavon and Danny Dwindles.
