Escambia Academy is No. 2 in the AISA in the latest Alabama Sports Writers Association high school football poll, which was released today.

The Cougars defeated Lighthouse Christian 43-15 last Friday night, and hosts Southern Academy in region action.

Autauga Academy is still at No. 1 in AISA. Pike Liberal Arts, Chambers and Glenwood round out the top five.

In Class 3A, T.R. Miller is at No. 8 at 6-2 on the season. The Tigers host Flomaton this week in a big region contest.
