Freddie Mappin Miller, 96, peacefully passed away in Atmore on Wed., Dec. 29, 2021.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Fredrick J. Mappin and Mary Mappin; her husbands, Richard Earl Strickland Sr. and Howard Gordon Miller Sr.; and her daughters, Carol Anderson and Barbara Haw.

She is survived by her two sons, Richard Earl Strickland Jr. and his wife, Nita of Gulf Shores, and Howard Gordon (Rusty) Miller Jr. and his wife, Tracy of Atmore; four grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

A celebration of life will be held for her at Trinity Episcopal Church in Atmore for her close friends and family at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting that you make a donation in her memory to the church she loved, Trinity Episcopal Church, 203 S. Carney St., Atmore, AL 36502.
