Luvenia F. “Sang” Hayles passed away at her home in Atmore on Tues., Dec. 28, 2021.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Lawrence and Stella Fillmore; her husband, Charles F. Hayles Sr.; two sisters, Jane Davis and Luverne Morton; and four brothers, Bill Fillmore, Jessie Fillmore, Jerry Fillmore and Robert Fillmore.   

She is survived by her two children, Charles F.  Hayles Jr., and Gena Rudge; son in law, Keith Rudge; along with several nieces and nephews, including a special niece, Charlotte “Dit” Grant.

Funeral services were held on Jan. 3, 2022 at Johnson-Quimby Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. Kevin Garrett officiating.  Interment followed at Oak Hill Cemetery in Atmore.

Johnson-Quimby Funeral Home is in charge of all arrangements.
