Escambia County swept W.S. Neal in boys and girls area basketball action Tuesday night in East Brewton.

The Lady Blue Devils improved to 16-2 on the season in their 50-24 victory over WSN. The boys defeated WSN 65-35 to improve to 17-3 overall, and 3-0 in Class 4A, Area 1.

ECHS girls 50, WSN girls 24

Escambia County’s C’anna Betts led with 23 points, eight rebounds and seven steals. Jayla Adams added 15 points.

The Lady Blue Devils led 19-9 at halftime.

ECHS boys 65, WSN boys 35

Two finished in double figures for the Blue Devils in Sheldon Williams and Jacob Dirden. Williams led with 18 points, and Dirden chipped in 11 in teh win.

Williams also had eight rebounds, five assists and blocks each and six steals.

Stephen Williams and Kaiden Arnold scored seven points each, and Conor McPherson had six points.
