Getting your Trinity Audio player ready...

You ever had one of those weekends?

You know, the one where everything falls right into place?

The one where doing nothing, coupled with just a little bit of work was on the main-event card?

That’s what I went through this past weekend.

I’m not really sure how it ended up that way, but the weekend just unfolded that way.

For the past week or so, I’ve been cooped up in my home because of a cold/respiratory illness. I’m 100 percent now.

Since then, I’ve been catching up on reading Lee Child’s “Jack Reacher” novels and watching movies I haven’t had the opportunity to watch.

Last weekend included me finishing up Child’s “Gone Tomorrow” on Saturday, and basically reading “61 Hours” in a less-than 24-hour span. I’ve found that these novels are quick, exciting reads.

The movies I watched included “The Best of Enemies” with Taraji Henson and Sam Rockwell, who played the leads. I also watched “Philomena” with Judi Dench and Steve Coogan.

As I watched “Philomena,” I remembered seeing the 2013 film before, but nevertheless, it was good to see it anyway.

Here’s hoping that the upcoming weekends will be as relaxing as last weekend.

Who knows, I may find some time to travel for one-day photography trips.

I find that relaxing, too.
