Ms. Bertha Inez “Polly” Dean, 71, passed away on Mon., Jan. 24, 2022 in Atmore.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Melton (Gladys Johnson) Amos; two brothers, James Oneil Amos and Will Amos; and aunt and uncle, Margaret and Wade Johnson.
She is survived by her one son, Michael Glen “Wormy” (Amy) Dean, of Atmore; one daughter, Lawanda Lynn Coker, of Nokomis, Fla.; three brothers, Clifford Amos, of Biloxi, Miss., Carlton Amos, of Perdido and Thomas (Pam) Amos, of Atmore; two sisters, Carolyn (Jimmy) Jackson, of Atmore and Bernice (Joe) Pace, of McDavid, Fla.; seven grandchildren, Caitlan, Whitney, Britney, James, Kenny Wayne, Abby and Mary Joiner; four great-grandchildren, Lanceton, Vivian, Isabeth and Little Rudy; and other relatives and friends.
Graveside services will be held this Fri., Jan. 28, 2022 at 2 p.m. at Sullivan Cemetery.
Visitation will be held on Jan. 28, 2022 from 12:30 p.m. until 1:30 p.m. at Petty- Eastside Chapel Funeral Home LLC.
Pallbearers will be Adam Hadley, Larry McDuffie, Oneil Johnson, Cassie Jackson, Blake Adams and James Kimbler.
Petty-Eastside Chapel Funeral Home LLC is in charge of all arrangements.
