Escambia County dropped two spots in Class 4A in the latest Alabama Sports Writers Association boys basketball poll, which was released today.

The Blue Devils (22-4) dropped to No. 4 in the poll.

ECHS lost by nine points to St. Michael on Tuesday night in area action.

Escambia Academy (12-5) is No. 5 in AISA after falling to Lighthouse Christian by seven points.

In the girls poll, T.R. Miller is ranked No. 6 in Class 3A, and ECHS was nominated, but not ranked.
