PHD Realty announced Monday the PHD Realty Determination Scholarship for 2022.

This is the sixth year the local realty company is awarding scholarships to students.

This year, four (4) $500 scholarships will be awarded to qualifying seniors who plan to attend technical school or college full time in the fall of 2022, according to a release.

To be eligible, graduating seniors must attend high school in the county of Escambia or Monroe in Alabama or the county of Escambia or Santa Rosa in Florida. The student must have a minimum grade point average of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale (or its equivalent) and the endorsement of their guidance counselor. Additionally, scholarship funds will be awarded during the spring semester of the recipient’s high school senior year.

“Our mission is to minimize the burden of that comes with the rising cost of education,” said Patty Helton Davis, broker and owner of PHD Realty. “We’ve been so incredibly blessed and we want to continue to share it with the future of our communities.”

Applications may be downloaded at www.phdrealty.com and are due on April 8, 2022 by 5 p.m. CST. Applications can be delivered or mailed to PHD Realty, c/o Determination Scholarship Committee, 1812 S. Main St., Atmore, AL 36502.
