After a 10-minute conversation with my parents, I had no clue what I was going to eat for dinner last Saturday night.
For background, I talk with my parents a couple times a week, and the usual topic of what I’m cooking for dinner comes up.
Last Saturday, my head was still buzzing from seeing “The Batman,” the latest film in the Batman collection. The film starred Robert Pattison as Bruce Wayne/Batman and Zoë Kravitz, among many other notable names.
The film was quite good and I thoroughly enjoyed it. I enjoyed it so much that I purchased the film’s soundtrack via Apple iTunes, and listened to it while making dinner.
My process of deciding on a meal usually takes place while I’m in the grocery store or on the way to said store.
I started to think about vegetables. There were no specific vegetables, just vegetables in general.
Then, the idea came to me – mushrooms.
I decided to make a chicken pasta dish with plenty of mushrooms, peppers and onions.
The dish turned out really good, and made for a good ending to a Saturday I used for movies and fun.
Who knew mushrooms were going to be a featured part?
