Wanda Lou Smith Sperou, 75, of Atmore, passed away on March 14, 2022 in Atmore.

She was born on Feb. 8, 1947 to Grover Frisco and Myrtle McKinley Smith.

She is preceded in death by her parents; her brothers, Roy H. Smith, Billy W. Smith and Carvin McKinley; and her sister, Hazel Strawbridge.

She is survived by her son, Speros George “Bo” Sperou (Dacia Lee) of Jonesboro, Ark.; her brother, David G. (Brenda) Smith of Robinsonville; her sister, Patricia A. (Eddie) Baker of Robinsonville; her granddaughter, Shelbie Lea Sperou; and her great-grandchildren, Jayden Carter Sperou and Cooper Andrew Sperou.

Funeral services were held on March 17, 2022 at Johnson-Quimby Funeral Home Chapel in Atmore.

Interment followed at McCullough Cemetery in McCullough.

Active pallbearers were Bo Sperou, Ashley Smith, Keith Strawbridge, Mike Strawbridge, Troy Baker and Brandon Smith.

Johnson-Quimby Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
