There’s a slight risk of weather that will impact the area Friday morning through about mid afternoon, according to the National Weather Service.

According to the NWS’s Mobile Twitter page, there is a potential for strong to severe storms across much of the area. Damaging winds and large hail continue to be the main threats, but a tornado cannot be completely ruled out, officials said.
