Billy Nathan Scott, 71, of Little River, passed away on May 6, 2022.

He was born on July 30, 1950 in Uriah, to Jacob Millard and Lilly Mae Cooper Scott. He is preceded in death by his parents; his sons, Danny Wayne Scott and Timothy Harold Scott; and his siblings, Perry Scott, Velma Odom and Roberta Johnson.

He is survived by his wife, Connie Reed Scott; his sons, Tony (Stephanie) Tolbert of Booneville, Anthony Douglas of Birmingham and Timothy Nathan Scott, who he raised like a son; his daughters, Ronda Kay Scott of Stockton, Marie (James) Grice of Atmore, Maria Hughes of McCullough, Charlene (Michael) Jeter of Uriah, Deloris George of Mobile and Donna (Dan) Thompson of Tennessee; his brother, Wilmer (Jean) Scott of Bay Minette; his sister, Annie Ruth Scott of Atmore; and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Funeral services were held on May 13, 2022 at Johnson-Quimby Funeral Home Chapel in Atmore with Bro. Cornelius Phillips officiating. Interment followed at Mamie’s Chapel Cemetery in Little River.

Active pallbearers were Kody Stewart, Nate Scott, Dalton Tolbert, Kenny Powell, Mike Johnson and Mitch Johnson.

Honorary pallbearers were Jim Overstreet, Wendell Powell, Jim Staff, Frank Odom and Ed Lietz.

Johnson-Quimby Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
