Mrs. Eloise Peacock, 84, passed away on Mon., May 20, 2022, at her home in Atmore.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Lee (Annie Lee Stokes) Nelson; one son, Richard Leon McGhee Jr.; one daughter, Pat Wiggins; two sisters, Dorothy Martin and Helen Ann Nelson; and one brother, Howard Nelson.
She is survived by her loving husband of 24 years, Harold Peacock, of Atmore; four daughters, Rhonda Kay (Melton) Kendrick, of Atmore, Shelley Peacock, of Columbus, Miss., Linda Sue Wiggins, of Century, Fla. and Brenda Peacock, of Perdido; two sons, Raymond (Laure) Simmons, of Atmore and Bo Simmons, of Milton, Fla.; one sister, Joy Nelson (Peter) Smith, of Perdido; one niece, Eia Leasha Martin; seven grandchildren, Melissa Kay Kendrick, of Atmore, Stephanie Kendrick, of Atmore, Angela McGhee, of Atmore, Latisha Ann Smith, of Perdido, Tiffaney McGhee Jones, of Pensacola, Fla., Anna Evanoff, of Pensacola and Christina McCire, of Jacksonville, Fla.; numerous great-grandchildren; and other relatives.
Funeral service will be held this Fri., May 27, 2022 at 3 p.m. at Petty-Eastside Chapel Funeral Home LLC with the Rev. Rickey Peebles and the Rev. Don Sanks officiating.
Burial will follow at Oak Hill Cemetery.
Visitation will be held on May 27, 2022 from 2 p.m. until service time at Petty-Eastside Chapel Funeral Home LLC.
Pallbearers will be Brendon Rolin, Austin Kendrick, Larry Paul, Lamar Hadley, Dillon Rolin and Jamie Garcia.
Honorary pallbearers will be Peter Smith, and Melton Kendrick.
Petty-Eastside Chapel Funeral Homes LLC of Atmore is in charge of all arrangements.
