Mr. Ellis Douglas Stallworth was born on Jan. 6, 1954 in Escambia County, Atmore.
Mr. Ellis Douglas transitioned from time to eternity on Tues., June 14, 2022 at his residence.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Avila S. Craig; sisters, Paula Michelle Craig and Vanessa Nicole Craig; and one brother, Lewis “TEDDY” Terrell Stallworth.
Those who will forever cherish his loving memories include a loving and devoted wife since Dec. 17, 1977 (45 years), Linda Harris Stallworth of Atmore; three wonderful children, Kendar JaClair` Stallworth, Katurah F. (Renaldo) Stallworth Brooks Sr. and Ellis KaRon Stallworth, all of Atmore; grandchildren, Lamaria JaKaysia` Stallworth, Bryce Lennox Hansell, Renaldo Jermaine Brooks Jr., JaJuan C. Brooks and Reniyah A. Brooks; two Godchildren, Kia Witcher Brown and Avalyn Bronson; brothers, Norman Craig and Curtis Craig both of Bristol, Conn.; sisters, Edith (Mark) Hayes of Jacksonville, Fla., Phaecedia Lynea Craig, Sarah Leslie Craig and Kelly Nicole Craig, all of Bristol; two sisters-in-law, Margaret Johnson and Juanita D. Grissett, both of Atmore; one brother-in-law, James (Ruth) Harris Jr. of Atmore; and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
Public Visitation will be held this Fri., June 24, 2022 from 2–6 p.m. at the Mayberry Funeral Home, 149 Carver Ave., Atmore, AL 36502.
A commemoration service will be held on Sat., June 25, 2022 at 11 a.m. at Emmanuel’s Faith Center located on 710 E. Ridgeley Street, Atmore, AL 36502. Bishop Wayne Johnson, host pastor, the Rev. C. Smith, eulogist, pastor of the Gaines Chapel and Overseer Isabell Brazzell, presiding.
Interment will be held at the Oak Hill Cemetery, Atmore.
