Mrs. Lois Rackard Amos, 90, passed away on Sat., July 30, 2022, peacefully at her home, with family at her bedside in Spanish Fort.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Lonnie (Nancy Percy) Rackard; husband, Gladden Amos; two sons, Freddie Pugh and Russell Hayes; one daughter, Donna Lord; and numerous brothers and sisters.
She is survived by her two daughters, Debbie (Barry) Westbrooks, of Spanish Fort and Joyce (Glynn) Hall, of McDavid, Fla.; one sister, Warnice Anderson, of Pensacola, Fla.; 11 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; special thanks to her loving caregiver, Kim Carnley with Martin in Home Care LLC; and numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.
A funeral service will be held tomorrow, Thurs., Aug. 4, 2022 at 2 p.m. at Petty-Eastside Chapel Funeral Homes LLC with the Rev. Brent Pugh officiating.
Burial will follow at Oak Hill Cemetery.
Visitation will be held on Aug. 4, 2022 from 1 p.m. until service time at Petty-Eastside Chapel Funeral Homes LLC.
