Carpet Drive to close Aug. 22 for construction or railroad spur

Carpet Drive will be closed on Aug. 22 for the construction of a railroad spur for Coastal Growers LLC.
Mayor Jim Staff said there is no definite date that the road will be reopened.
Alternate routes are Swift Mill Road, Industrial Drive and Highway 31.
