An Atmore woman suffered a possible injury in a two-vehicle wreck at the intersection of Medical Park Drive and McRae Street Monday night, according to the Atmore Police Department.

Shannon Griffey, 50, of Atmore, was driving a 2017 Jeep Cherokee and traveling on Medical Park Drive.

Kristy Benjamine, 33, also of Atmore, was driving a 2017 Chevrolet Malibu.

According to APD officials, it was determined by an investigation that the Cherokee ran the stop sign at Medical Park Drive and McRae, striking the Malibu.

Benjamine was transported to Atmore Community Hospital by MedStar Ambulance, and both cars were towed by David’s Paint and Body.
