Mrs. Louzine “MeMe” Cox Mosley, 90, of Bluff Springs, Fla., loving wife of 33 years to the late James Mosley, peacefully went to be with our Lord on Saturday morning, Oct. 8, 2022, at her home with her two daughter in laws by her side.

She was born March 25, 1932 in Sylacauga, moving to Bluff Springs as a child.

Louzine is preceded in death by her parents, Henry and Florence Ellison; two sisters, Jayne Wood and Doris Ellison; and special niece, Jan Wood. She is also preceded in death by her husband of 33 years, James Mosley.

She is survived by her two sons, Billy (Brenda) Cox of McDavid, Fla. and

Tommy (Sandy) Cox of Thomasville; sisters, Kathy Nugent and Joan (Freddie) Gates; grandchildren, Autumn (Shawn) Fleming, Summer (Ricky) Payne, Brandi Cox (Jerrod) and Michael (Amber) Cox; and great-grandchildren, McKenna and Jackson Simmons and Anna Cox; many nieces, nephews, family members and friends; and sweet fur baby, Mitzi.

Funeral services were held on Oct. 16, 2022 at First Baptist Church of Century with Bro. David Boyd officiating. Interment followed in Flomaton Cemetery.

Johnson-Quimby Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
