Mrs. Nell Ree Vickery Owens, 88, passed away peacefully on Oct. 30, 2022 in Foley surrounded by her family.

She is preceded in death by her husband of 65 years, Alvin E. Owens; parents, Bunk and Myrtle Vickery; two brothers, Lawrence Vickery and Doug Vickery; and one sister, Shirley Fayard.

She is survived by her one brother, Weldon (Kay) Vickery, of Bratt, Fla.; one sister, Ann (Larry) Davis, of Atmore; cherished nieces, nephews, grandchildren, great-grandchildren and other relatives.

A funeral service was held on Nov. 1, 2022 at Petty-Eastside Chapel Funeral Home LLC with Sis. Kay Vickery officiating.

Burial followed at Oak Hill Cemetery.

Visitation was held on Nov. 1, 2022 at Petty-Eastside Chapel Funeral Home LLC.

Pallbearers were Greg Turberville, Mike Fayard, Bryan Fayard, Kevin Vickery, Danny Vickery, Doug Vickery Jr. and Gus Jones.

Petty-Eastside Chapel Funeral Home LLC is in charge of all arrangements.
