Ms. Barbara Joan Clark Rixey, 72, of Davisville, Fla., passed away on Sun., Oct. 30, 2022, at HCA Florida West Hospital after fighting colorectal and lung cancer.

Ms. Rixey is survived by David Owen Rixey; one daughter, Jennifer (Chris) Sleczkowski; granddaughters, Alexis Sleczkowski, Amber Sleczkowski, Marie Sleczkowski, Natalie Sleczkowski and Sophia Sleczkowski; her brother, Tyrell (Rose) Clark; her sisters, Connie (Gordon) Raines and Carolyn Green; four nephews; two nieces; one grandnephew; and two grandnieces.  She was preceded in death by her parents; and sister, Ann Jamie Clark Bingham.

A graveside memorial service will be held this Sat., Nov. 19, 2022 at 3 p.m. at Dry Springs Cemetery in Walnut Hill, Fla.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the American Cancer Society.
