Cynthia W. “Cindy” Raines, 65, of Atmore, passed away on Nov. 10, 2022 in Pensacola, Fla.

She was born on May 22, 1957 in Mobile to James Henry and Louellen Moses Ward. She was preceded in death by her parents; and her siblings, Lou Ann Howell and Benny Howell.

She is survived by her husband of 49 years, Joe Raines; her sons, Joseph Christopher Raines of Mobile and Ethan Aaron (Maranda) Raines of Flomaton; her daughter, Sandra Lynn (Ronnie) Beasley of Atmore; her brothers, Lamar (Tina) Ward of Brewton, Wendell (Rhonda) Ward of Brewton and Mark (Tammy) Ward of Brewton; her sister, Terri (Donnie) Anglin of Mobile; and her grandchildren, Lyrik Wingate and Myles Raines.

Graveside services were held on Nov. 13, 2022 at Oak Hill Cemetery with Bro. Don Sanks officiating. Interment followed in Oak Hill Cemetery.

Active pallbearers were Ethan Raines, Chris Raines, Logan Morris, Lamar Ward, Mark Ward and Joshua Manning.

Johnson-Quimby Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
