Atmore Parent Resource Fair event held

The first-ever Atmore Parent Resource Fair event was held Nov. 17 at Boxcar Willie on Ridgeley Street.
The fair included food, games, music and informational resources.
Escambia County School System Mental Health Service Coordinator Marlo Young, who coordinated the event, said approximately 85 people participated and visited the resource fair.
“Overall, I felt that the event was a success and went really well, despite the cold weather,” Young said. “I got a lot of great feedback from participants and I look forward to this being a great annual event.”
