Johnny Thomas Guyton, 77, of Atmore, passed away on Nov. 12, 2022 at his residence.

He was born on July 26, 1945 in Sulligent to John B. and Mary Strawbridge Guyton.
He is preceded in death by his parents, John B. and Mary W. Guyton; his brother, Danny Guyton; his sister, Paula Guyton; and his grandmother, Alice Strawbridge.
He is survived by the love of his life for 55 years, Shirley Morrison Guyton; his daughters, Becky (Leslie) Cooper and Stephanie (Pete) DaCosta; his son, Dr. Johnny T. Guyton Jr.; three amazing grandchildren, the Rev. JonChristian Guyton, Mikaela Guyton and Sophia DaCosta; his siblings, Jack Guyton, Billy Guyton, Ed Guyton, Mary Ann Wright, Ricky Guyton, Ronnie Guyton, Marchall Guyton and Cathy Nelson; and a close uncle, Ollie Strawbridge.
Funeral services were held on Nov. 17, 2022 at Johnson-Quimby Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Joey Rogers, Dr. J.T. Guyton Jr. and the Rev. JonChristian Guyton, who officiated. Interment followed in Oak Hill Cemetery.
