An Atmore man was arrested on drug charges Dec. 21, according to the Atmore Police Department.

Public Information Officer Sgt. Darrell McMann said an APD investigator observed a vehicle make an improper lane change on Highway 21.

“The investigator stopped the vehicle and contacted the driver, Johnny Mack Rolin, 60, of Atmore,” McMann said. “The investigator obtained consent to search the vehicle upon observing Rolin’s behavior. A clear plastic baggie was discovered in Rolin’s clothing that he admitted was methamphetamine.”

Rolin was arrested and charged with possession of a controlled substance and transported to the Escambia County Detention Center in Brewton.
