Steven Craig “Steve” Morris, 57, of Atmore, passed away on Jan. 25, 2023 in Pensacola, Fla.

He was born on Feb. 6, 1965 in Atmore to John and Lois Overstreet Morris.

He is preceded in death by his parents; and his sister, Rita Dunn.

He is survived by his wife, Kristina Todd Morris; his sons, Steven Morris Jr. (Angie) of Atmore, Jordan Lassitter (Taylor Sims) of Atmore and Dylan Lassitter (Shawnee McGee) of Poarch; his sisters, Elaine McKinley of Atmore and Patti Prater of Newnan, Ga.; and his grandchildren, Britton Morris, Weston Morris, Amelia Morris, Ryleigh Lassitter and Blakelyn Lassitter.

Graveside services were held on Jan. 28, 2023 at Oak Hill Cemetery with Bro. John Spence officiating. Interment followed in Oak Hill Cemetery.

Active pallbearers were his fellow police officers.

Johnson-Quimby Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
