Two Escambia County Blue Devils finished in double figures to help lead their team to a 63-60 victory over Baldwin County Feb. 3 on senior night.

Senior Hakeem Johnson led with 27 points, and four rebounds; and Stephen Williams added a double double 16 points and 17 rebounds.

In girls action, the Lady Blue Devils won 35-31.

Both teams are gearing up for the Class 4A, Area 2 tournament, which begins Tuesday at Jackson.

The No. 2-seeded boys play T.R. Miller in the semifinals at 6 p.m. The girls play Jackson at 7:30 p.m.

The girls’ and boys’ championships are slated for Feb. 9 at 5 p.m. and 6:30 p.m., respectively.
