The Atmore City Council approved a housing board reappointment during its meeting on March 13.

The council approved the reappointment of Dr. Hugh Long to the board.

Additionally, April is National Autism Awareness Month, and the second annual awareness walk will be held Sat., April 1, at 9 a.m.

The walk will start at Atmore City Hall and end at Heritage Park, where a short program and refreshments will be served.
