Amanda Perry Jay, 36, of Atmore, passed away on March 7, 2023.

She was born on October 9, 1986 in Atmore to David and Lechia Boatwright Perry.  She is preceded in death by her son, Patrick Jay.

She is survived by her husband, James Roger Jay of Atmore; her parents, David Perry of Atmore and Lechia Boatwright Perry of Bay Minette; her children, Shawn Salter of Atmore, Chris (Kristen) Jay of Atmore, Timothy Jay of Atmore, Alayana Salter of Atmore, Brylee Salter of Atmore and Alexis McClain of Atmore; her brother, Blake Perry of Atmore; her sister, Tierani Donaldson of Bay Minette; her uncle, Greg Boatwright of Canoe; her aunt, Cindy Boatwright of Bay Minette; and her grandson, Joe Jay.

Funeral services were held on March 13, 2023 at Johnson-Quimby Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Thurl Pearson officiating. Interment followed in Oak Hill Cemetery in Atmore.

Active pallbearers were Blake Perry, Hunter Clark, Chris Boatwright, Shawn Salter, Jake Donaldson, Dudley Flowers, Chris Jay and Jimmy Boyington.

Johnson-Quimby Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
