The First United Methodist Church, along with the help of other churches in the community, will host a series of Lenten Lunches on Monday, April 3, Tuesday, April 4 and Wednesday, April 5 from 11:45 a.m. until 12:45 p.m. each day. Guest speakers will offer a devotional message each day. Monday will feature the Rev. Dr. Kevin Garrett of the First Baptist Church of Atmore, Tuesday has the Rev. Darryl North of Empowerment Tabernacle Church and the series closes on Wednesday with Pastor Gene King of Grace Fellowship. Lunch will be provided free of charge each day by local churches.
