Escambia Academy’s varsity and middle school track teams finished in the top five during the third and final home meet of the season March 29 in Canoe.

The varsity and middle school boys finished first with 135.33 points and 114 points, respectively; the middle school girls finished first with 137 points; and the varsity girls finished second with 120.50 points.

The meet served as a tune up for the junior varsity athletes as they’ll be competing in the AISA JV State Meet next Wed., April 5, at 10:30 a.m. in Canoe. The state meet was postponed due to the potential threat of bad weather on Saturday.
