Mr. Ubie Lavon “Muncie” Hammack, 86, passed away on Thurs., April 13, 2023, surrounded by his loving wife and family.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Albert (Annie Lisenby) Hammack; three brothers, Curtis Hammack, John Henry Hammack and Albert Hammack Jr.; and one sister, Lucille Gurley.
He is survived by his loving wife of 64 years, Audrey Faye Blackmon Hammack, of Range; two sons, Timothy Lavon Hammack, of Range and James Mitchell (Janet) Hammack, of Range; one brother, Ray Hammack, of Fort Walton Beach, Fla.; one sister, Willodean “Cricket” Blackerby, of Fort Walton Beach; six grandchildren, Joshua, Jeremy, Jaimie, Brandon (Britany), Brooke and Whitney; 12 great-grandchildren; and other relatives and friends.
A graveside service will be held Tues., April 18, 2023 at 11 a.m. at Hartwood Methodist Church Cemetery with the Rev. Buddy Williams and the Rev. Bobby Boatwright officiating.
