Joann “Jodie” Clarke White, 80, of Atmore, passed away on May 7, 2023.
White
She was born on May 18, 1942 in Mobile to John Braxton and Adray T. Clarke.
She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband, James Lavelle White; her brothers, Sonny Clarke and Stan Clarke; and two great-grandchildren, Addy Kate White and Ben White.
She is survived by her son, Jon Steven (Kim) White of Fairhope; her daughter, Jamie White (Joey) Brown of Atmore; her sister, Charlene (Earnie) Frost of Mobile; five grandchildren, Clarke (Callie) White, Matt Amerson, Macey (Austin) Eicher, Tyler (Megan) White and Layton White; six great-grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews, family and friends.
Funeral services will be held today, Wed., May 10, 2023 at noon at Johnson-Quimby Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Larry White and Speaker Earnie White officiating. Interment will follow in Oak Hill Cemetery.
Active pallbearers will be Austin Eicher, Matt Amerson, Clarke White, Dean Soutullo, Andy Oakes and Doug Daniel.
Visitation will be held on May 10, 2023 from 11 a.m. until service time at Johnson-Quimby Funeral Home in Atmore.
Johnson-Quimby Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
