St. Robert’s celebrates 60th Sacerdotal Anniversary of Milsted today

St. Robert Bellarmine Catholic Church today celebrated the 60th Sacerdotal Anniversary of the Rev. Gordon N. Milsted.
Milsted was ordained as a priest in the Catholic Church on May 23, 1963. He has served at Montgomery Catholic School, St. Andrew’s and St. Peter’s in Montgomery; and at parishes in Pensacola, Fla., Grand Bay, Fairhope, Brewton and Atmore, to name a few.
Archbishop Thomas Rodi was also present for the celebration.
“He has been a light to many,” Rodi said about Milsted.
Following the holy sacrifice of mass, a reception followed in Boland Hall.
