Pride of Atmore officials announced today the grand opening of the Strand Theatre and Encore.

The grand opening will be held Sat., July 8, from 2 p.m. until 4 p.m. for all ages and from 7 p.m. until 9:30 p.m. for those 21 and older.

Officials said recognition for all donors who have helped make the renovation of the theatre and hardware possible; live performances by the Railway Arts Guild; and live music from Southern Approach will be held.
