James Larry “Stoney” Presley, 55, of Nokomis, Fla., passed away on June 27, 2023. He was born on April 28, 1968 in Atmore to Jesse Larry Presley and Linda Davis Presley.

He is preceded in death by his parents.

He is survived by his wife, Sandy Presley; his son, Jesse Stone Presley of Perdido; his daughter, Rachel Presley (Kyle Robbins) of Pensacola, Fla.; his siblings, Chester Presley of Atmore and Angelia (Billy) Rolin of Atmore; and his granddaughter, Riley Brown.

A gathering of family and friends for James Larry “Stoney” Presley will be held this Fri., July 7, 2023 from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m. at Johnson-Quimby Funeral Home in Atmore.

A celebration of life service will be held at a later date.

Johnson-Quimby Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
