Local events highlight the July 4 holiday tomorrow.

St. Andrew’s Anglican Catholic Church is holding an all-day celebration..

Fr. Keith Bernarducci said the festivities include a band, water balloon fight, three-legged race and volleyball game. Additionally, the Atmore Police and Fire Departments will have a car and engine for kids to explore.

“We want everyone to know that the church is open, to come and celebrate the independence of our country and not wait until the fireworks that night,” Bernarducci said.

Bernarducci said the event is open to everyone in town.

The church is located at 1101 S. Presley St., Atmore.

Hours after the event at St. Andrew’s, Wind Creek Casino and Hotel is holding its annual Fireworks show.

Fireworks begin shooting off at 9 p.m.
