A McDavid, Fla. man died in a single-vehicle crash July 21 on Pine Barren Road near Victor Road, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.

According to the FHP, the victim was driving a motorcycle southbound on Pine Barren Road, just south of Victor Road. The vehicle left the roadway to the right, came back on the roadway, overturned on its side, slid across the northbound lane and left the roadway to the left, where the driver and vehicle collided with trees.

FHP officials said the driver, a 47 year old, was pronounced deceased on the scene, and there is no evidence of a deer being involved in the crash.
