Ms. Jessica Ann Mathis, 34, passed away on July 19, 2023 at Sacred Heart Hospital, where she was born, on Aug. 29, 1988.

She is preceded in death by her mother, Donna Childress Mathis.
She is survived by her father, Tommy (Sandra) Mathis of Clermont, Fla.; three children, Ayden Mitchell, Arianna Mathis and Julie Davidson; one sister, Brandi Holt (Vida) of Dothan; four brothers, Jason (Amanda) Mathis, of Milton, Fla., Jeremy (Jessica) Mathis, of Southport, Fla., Eric Mathis, of Brooksville, Fla. and Luke Mathis of Clermont; aunts and uncles, Michael (Nikki) Childress, of Byrneville, Fla. and Jimmy (Phyllis) Mathis, of Byrneville, Fla.; many beloved nieces and nephews, Jordan, Tyler, Chase, Jayda, Joni, Katelyn, Havynn, Raylan, South, Joshua, Cannon, Keaton, Ridge and Dezmond; cherished friends that became family, Allisa Garrett, Emma Garrett, Wayne Martin, Brenton Emmons and Angela Simmons; and other relatives and friends.
Memorial services were held on July 22, 2023 at Faith Church 825 Dailey St., East Brewton, with Pastor Steve Massingill officiating.
